Northfield guarantees that all Certified Preowned instruments and equipment meet industry standards and guarantees against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 365 days from date of delivery. The customer must follow Original Equipment Manufacturer operating, processing, cleaning, and maintenance procedures for instruments purchased, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and in compliance with OSHA blood borne pathogen regulations. For instruments included in this Agreement, customer must use equipment the way it was originally intended and, in the event of a problem, provide Northfield with reasonable assistance in diagnosing and correcting instrument service issues. Northfield materials and workmanship warranties are voided by improper use, improper handling and storage, and repairs or services performed by others. Under no circumstances shall Northfield be liable to the customer or others for any indirect, special, consequential or incidental losses or damages however caused. The customer acknowledges and agrees that Northfield’ liability and the customer’s exclusive remedy is limited to the performance of services provided under this agreement and the fair market value thereof.
